Finally got to try Tiong Bahru Bakery!

And I have to say... I'm not in love, maybe not yet. I wanted something salty, but the choices available didn't really catch my fancy so I went for the sweet. The winner of the day is the pastry marked with a star - the Kouign Amann recommended by eunphoric. A fancy name for a simple looking pastry. It's really good though, worth the bite. Something nice for breakfast or tea. :-) once in a while.

It's filled with chocolate cream which has a hint of sourness, which is pretty special.
Maybe I'd like the vanilla one better.

I'm actually quite happy with this! Not a fan of chocolate but somehow chocolate and banana always go well together.

There's still more from that day... and the previous weekend. /o\ Colour adjustments always give me a headache, esp. now when I am still adjusting to my new lappie. Still haven't got to transferring the things from my old laptop. /o\

Americano, Blue Lemonade & Mango Banana

I don't drink sour stuff, and Eunice was having a sore throat for days so the minty-sour combination was a bad idea. But it's super refreshing and very popular among koreans.

The Mango Banana, however, is super yummy!!

 Instead of 꽃미남 (flowerboy) it's 꽃중년 (flower middle-aged men) ㅎㅎㅎㅎ
